'Growing with God and Striving for Excellence'
We would like to wish you a warm welcome to our school website.
Our Christian vision, ‘Growing with God and Striving for Excellence’ is at the core of everything we do and underpins our teaching, learning and environment.
We aspire to keep community at the heart of Flamborough School, where every member knows that they belong to our family. God enables us to grow together in love and learning. We strive for excellence through developing pupils’ responsibility to themselves, others and the world, respect for learning, and developing resilience as a response to the challenges they will meet, underpinned by faith in God and the teachings of the Bible.
We aim to support children to become well rounded, confident individuals through the educational experience we provide. We constantly review our topics for the New Curriculum and aim to make learning an exciting and engaging experience. We encourage independent learning and embrace challenge as a part of the learning experience.

We are also keen to continue to make more use of our outdoor space and promote outdoor learning. In addition to experiencing all aspects of the curriculum, we also have a range of extra curricular clubs, regular visitors to school and a residential trip for our Year 4 and Year 6 pupils. This is being constantly reviewed in response the pandemic.
We use PSHE (Jigsaw) and the Church of England’s ‘Values For Life’ and ‘Roots and Shoots’ to help our children cope in all aspects of their lives and to become good citizens who will have achieved their very best during their time here.
