Mrs T Traves is our Child Protection Governor.
At Flamborough Primary, we pride ourselves on our caring and inclusive nature. Every child is important to us and every child should be safe. As such, all of our staff, and volunteers, have completed child protection training, with others having more in depth training on specific issues.
We have strict guidelines and procedures that we have to follow and adhere to. If we feel that any child has suffered abuse of any kind, we will report the matter to the appropriate agency.
Staff have all received Child Protection training. A copy of the Child Protection Policy is available on request. Mrs Organ is the Designated Safeguarding Lead, with Mrs long and Mrs Hall as deputies.
If you have any concerns about the welfare of any of the children at Flamborough Primary School, then our CP team are here to help and can be contacted at school on (01262) 850513.
The Local Authority Child Protection Officer (LADO) can be contacted on (01482) 392139.
Online safety is continually being monitored and we use the county filtering service to ensure that, as far as possible, only suitable sites are accessible on our school system.
Parents can report any online safety issues directly to the police at Child Exploitation & Online Protection Centre – internet safety – CEOP.
